My Story

I became a Notary Public in 2014 while working as a 911 dispatcher. Dispatching Police, Medical, and Fire services in Kingman and the surrounding area. In the beginning, my commission was used for officers or other staff that could not get away from the police station to get their signatures notarized.

After I left that position, I maintained my commission and offered my services to the public and mostly used it to notarize signatures on vehicle titles for the next few years.

While working as a Credentialing Specialist at a local hospital, I would be requested by doctors or other hospital staff that could not get away from work and hospital patients that could not leave their bed to get their important documents notarized. I quickly learned the value of providing a mobile service so, when I decided to go back to school, I advertised my services to our local community and became certified to handle loan signings part time.

During the next couple of years, I helped the general public with in-home (sometimes bedside) signings for Powers of Attorney, Wills, Trust, and general notarizations. I became specialized in handling real estate closings including Grant Deeds, Warranty Deeds, Beneficiary Deeds, Title/Escrow Seller Packages, FSBO Sales and Purchases, Cash and Loan Purchases, HELOCS and 2nd Mortgages, Refinances and Reverse Mortgages. Properties ranged from Vacant Land and Residential, to multi-million dollar Commercial files. I worked with Title Companies and Lenders from all over the country as well as Law Firms and Care Facilities.

In May of 2020, I became one of the first in the State of Arizona to receive my Remote Online Notarization (RON) commission that allowed me to notarize for signers all around the world and have since completed signings with people in Japan, The Philippines, Canada, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, and so many other places that I have lost track.

After graduating college, I decided to put everything into this field of work and have been a full time Mobile Notary and Certified Loan Signing Agent for over 5 years.

After Hours Mobile Notary is expanding to offer scheduling services for signings outside of my local area.
