Remote Deposition - Oath Only
Service Description
For a deposition (or other remote court hearing), a mobile notary travels to a location outside the courthouse to administer an oath or affirmation to the deponent (the person giving the testimony). This ensures the testimony is given under the penalty of perjury and that the statements are considered truthful. The notary must also verify the deponent's identity and record the oath in their journal. The deponent must be physically present before the notary to administer the oath. The fee includes the $10 notarial fee as well as travel to the location in Kingman and 30 minutes Service time (15 minutes before the appointment to verify the deponent's ID and complete the journal entry and 15 minutes more to be present and administer the oath).
Cancellation Policy
For mobile service: If a trip is made and the signer is not able to sign (has expired ID, is not coherent, document is already notarized, etc.) a trip fee will be charged. Trip fee varies upon location (starting at $20).
